Leaders describe Wildern Partnership as 'a small SCITT with a big heart where trainees thrive', and they are right. The ambitious initial teacher education curriculum is coupled with carefully crafted support for trainees. Trainees choose the SCITT based on its strong reputation locally and report it far exceeds their expectations. As one said, 'it feels like a big teaching family, and I feel honoured to be a part of it.'
The Wildern Partnership SCITT offers a high quality local teacher training programme working in collaboration with a diverse range of partnership schools, across Hampshire as well as colleges and universities. Â
We offer a school based, collaborative, high quality and cross phase training programme which is adapted to your individual needs.
The full time one year teacher training programme in both primary and secondary commences in September. Successful completion of your training with us will result in Qualified Teacher status(QTS), along with a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) at Masters level. Master credits are transferable.Â
The strength of the SCITT programme is that it allows trainees to learn the craft of teaching in a school with children and experienced teachers and work as part of a team. All of the schools in our partnership focus on high standard and positive outcomes for children and young people. Â
Further details on the training year can be found on the Wildern Partnership website.Â
