Arts Assistants â€“ Casual
The d.@rt Centre is Hedge End's Local community Art Centre, offering a full arts programme for all ages and facilities/spaces to hire for dance, fitness and performance groups. Within this programme, we have delivered very popular Arts, Crafts and Cookery activities to children for over 6 years, with full groups and waiting lists.
We are looking for creative, enthusiastic Arts Assistants to assist our Tutors with our varied Children's Arts, Crafts and Cookery programme during the weekends and school holidays. You will be proactive in your approach when helping children from 4-15 years with the tasks set. From setting up materials for workshops, to helping with mixing paints, to clearing up messy paint! Experience in arts/crafts/cookery and working with children is desirable, a positive and proactive attitude is essential. Casual rate of Â£4.81 to Â£9.50 per hour (dependant on age).
