Flexibility may be required for the operational needs of the d.@rt centre. Grade D â€“ Step 1 Â£21,778 plus 12% shift enhancement and 24 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays.

The d.@rt Centre is looking for a Deputy Arts Centre Manager to work with the new Arts Centre Manager to deliver an outstanding Arts programme within the school and the local community. The d.@rt Centre is located at the heart of the community of Hedge End, West End and Botley and surrounding areas. The Centre is a busy hub of activity with the potential to grow further. We have a full arts programme across a range of disciplines and The d.@rt Centre boasts purpose built auditoriums, music suites, practice rooms, recording studios, a dance studio and The Berry Theatre (a 306 seater professional theatre) right next door. The d.@rt Centre has a broad network locally, nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting the Arts Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the Centre. The role will be varied and include setting up courses, marketing and the organisation of on-site community activities for a range of age groups. A passion for the arts and a desire to work in a stimulating organisation will be a key quality along with excellent communication skills. In this role you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and experience. You will be working within a small team with some line management responsibilities.
