At Wildern School, every student’s journey from Year 7 through Year 11 is defined by ambition, opportunity, and self-discovery. Through our tailored Education for Life programme, dedicated tutor time, and dynamic off-timetable learning events, we empower every young person to explore their passions, unlock their potential, and chart a path toward a bright future.
Inclusivity is at the heart of our mission: our careers provision is thoughtfully personalized to support the unique strengths, needs, and aspirations of every learner, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
To ensure our students receive world-class guidance, we partner closely with the Careers & Enterprise Company and rigorously align our practice with the gold-standard Gatsby Benchmarks. Through annual reviews of both our policy and practice, we constantly evolve our curriculum to stay forward-thinking, relevant, and ready to equip tomorrow’s leaders.

Quality in Careers Standard
We are incredibly proud that WILDERN SCHOOL has successfully achieved the Quality in Careers Standard Gold Award through Ixion (part of Shaw Trust)!
This award is the culmination of an intense and rewarding 18 months of hard work from myself and my amazing team. Achieving the Gold standard is a testament to our commitment to providing the highest quality careers education, advice, and guidance for every single one of our secondary students.
A huge thank you to my dedicated team and the staff who have helped us and to Ixion Holdings for their rigorous and supportive assessment process.

The Careers provision at Wildern School is continuously updated in line with our policy and using feedback from all stakeholder groups. Trust reviews happen termly and the Careers team have taken part in the Local Employment Partners Internal Leadership Review and subsequent peer-to-peer review.
