 CAMHS   Thursday 17th November 2022 Hall   Helen Dove works in Hampshire CAMHS with a variety of projects that seek to support young people parents/carers and professionals. The focus is on early help, self help, and health promotion. Helen is not a clinician or a manager, and therefore would be unable to take questions on these elements of the service. However, she will spend some time walking us through their hugely helpful website to show the resources that are available and so accessible for all. She will also share the latest projects that will be of use and interest to many. Open to all parents of any year group who are looking to be able to support their child with their emotional health and wellbeing. All Years  
 The Effective Use of EdTech to support Learning  Thursday 8th December 2022   Virtual Event  Find out how education technology can support your child in school and in self-study. From Google education tools like Google Classroom through to apps and online extensions discover how technology supports learning, revision as well as the range of assistive tools that can be used on Chromebooks during lessons. Wildern Trust is an EdTech Demonstrator for the DfE supporting schools in the south east region to use technology more effectively.  All Years

Chromebooks  Thursday 4th May 2023 Hall  This evening will introduce the Chromebook scheme which will be opened to the current Year 8 cohort. Suitable for Year 8 parents only Year 8 
Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)  Thursday 18th May 2023 Virtual Event  This session will outline what is covered throughout the Education for Life curriculum and how the RSE statutory requirements are delivered. This is open to parents of all year groups. All Years 
How to Support Your Child's Reading  Thursday 8th June 2023 Hall/LRC Join staff and students at Wildern as we share some effective strategies to support your child with reading. Open to all parents and students of any year group - particularly suitable for KS3 All Years (particularly KS3) 
Healthy Eating/Affordable Nutritious Meals  Thursday 22nd June 2023 Virtual Event  Find out more about the importance of fueling our bodies with a balanced diet whilst we explore the themes celebrated during the British Nutrition Foundation's 11th annual Healthy Eating Week.
