Year 6 Transition Info 2024

Welcome and thank you for choosing Wildern School as the secondary school for your son/daughter starting with us in September 2024.  We look forward to welcoming you to our school.  Here you will find all the information you need for joining us.

We work closely with the Primary and Junior schools to support students from Year 6 through to their arrival in Year 7.  On this website, you will find a wealth of information about our school including a Year 6 FAQ page.  Copies of recent letters will be attached below. 

Moving from primary school to secondary school is an exciting time of life but for many children, it can also be a daunting prospect. A new, much bigger school can offer greater independence, such as the first smartphone, and a world of opportunity. However, it also means new teachers, new subjects and potentially a whole new set of friends.
